Winter Activities

The Shuswap area of British Columbia becomes a winter wonderland when the snow falls.

This beautiful flowing trail immerses travellers in the tranquillity of the forest between Blind Bay and White Lake. This 2-km trail presents an easy lower loop, making it ideal for a brief and visually appealing snowshoe excursion. It features a remarkable forest rock wall and provides a winter journey through a lush and ecologically diverse forest.

This family-friendly loop trail on an old road leads you past a historic root cellar.

A series of Nordic ski loop trails and a growing series of snowshoe trails maintained by the Skmana Ski Club surrounding beautiful wetlands and intimate twin lakes.

Skimikin Lake features various snowshoe and cross-country skiing trails, including short-loop nordic trails near the lake and longer backcountry-style trails.

Located 20 km from Salmon Arm, this cross-country ski area offers a wide variety of trails for outdoor enthusiasts. With over 170 km of ski trails, including 57 km that are regularly groomed, as well as an additional 17 km of snowshoe trails, there is plenty to explore and enjoy.
